Smiling faces, full of hope and some nervous energy, brand new pencils, and tidy classrooms. The first day of school is pure magic when you teach young learners. Most high school teachers wouldn’t use the word magic but the first day certainly reminds us of the reasons we all became educators. For most of us, our why is the kids and our commitment to making a positive impact.
